Upgrading a BP 1000

I am trying to upgrade my APC Back-ups Pro 1000 by adding more battery storage. I know that there is a product out there that plugs into the back of the UPS (where the yellow plug is currently). What exactly is this product? I have searched on APC's site, google, and even ebay to try to find out what, exactly, I need. I would appreciate any help that you can provide me with.
I would strongly prefer to not have to buy a new UPS for now.
