Dear All,
I have a APC SMART - UPS SC450 RM which im able to connect to this device via telnet fine, but unable to access this at all through a browser.
Have tried with port 80 in the browser and 443 and wondered if there was setting within the management card im missing. But i thought the webconsole we available by default.
Kind Regards
Geoff Edwards

ok. this is a network management card but i am not aware of the fact you could use an NMC with this by default..anyways..
i'd do the following:
go to the Network menu- > Web/SSL/TLS menu -> and verify here that you see Access : Enabled and see if SSL/TLS is configured and on what ports. if access is disabled you can change the settings accordingly here and make sure you press the option for "accept changes" on each menu. the card needs to reboot to change this i think so you might need to ESC back to the main menu and log out and give it a few mins to reboot and try again.
if everything looks good there, i'd start by rebooting the NMC interface which will not affect the UPS in anyway by rebooting the load, incase you were wondering. this option is under Main Menu -> system menu -> Tools menu -> Reboot Management Interface. you'll have to type yes to confirm. log back in and verify you are trying to access it by the info on the Web/SSL/TLS menu.

can you provide a screenshot of what you see via telnet? i believe this unit only uses powerchute business edition and it does not have a telnet interface so that is why i am confused.
if it is powerchute business edition, you can try http on port 3052 and https on 6547
