Hello,
Recently I installed a Smart UPS 3000, I entered the web interface and logged as apc/apc.
I just made the configuration for Notifications and IPv4 settings and then reseted the device. Now when I try to login says that username or password is incorrect, the same apc/apc.
This is the log (on user device) before the reset? Did I made any mistake?

Unfortunately, there is no way to reset the password remotely for security reasons. You at least need to know the super user (apc account) or another administrator's account to be able to reset passwords remotely. If you can't get in using any administrator level account, you'll need to be local.
Another possibility, which I don't see in the event log though, is that the super user (apc account) was disabled which would prevent log in too.

Hmm, I am not sure. I don't see anything beyond the fact that it was reset to defaults. I don't see anything obviously wrong. Do you know what firmware is on the device?
If you can't get in, you can try the password reset procedure outlined here -> http://www.apc.com/support/index?page=content&country=ITB〈=en&locale=en_US&id=FA156075 See if it allows you in by doing that.

Thanks for the answer. One of my tasks where to update the firmware, i don´t remember now the version.
The problem to reset the password is that I am not at the same site, I am working remotely.
Thanks,
Felipe
