UPS will not take IP Address from APC Device IP Configuration Wizard.
We just installed Two new UPS’ and a Automatic Transfer Switch. All of which have Network Management cards.
I ran the APC Device IP Configuration Wizard and it found all 3 devices. I assigned them all IP Addresses and the Wizard did not error once. However on the UPS’ when the web interface came up it would not load. And the UPS’ would not respond to Ping. The Automatic Transfer Switch took the IP without error and is working.
I ran the Wizard again and it found the 2 UPS’ again. I tried to give them an IP and got the same thing. I have tried this 3 times now and every time it seems to give it the IP but the web interface will not come up and will not respond to ping. And then the wizard it will still see it as unconfigured.
We are working remotely trying to set this up so a serial cable will require travel time.
Can anyone help me with getting the UPS’ Management cards to accept the IP Addresses assigned by the configuration wizard?
Any help is appreciated

We had that happen where it would not reply. We were required to use a serial cable to configure the management card unfortunately.
Other than that, we've configured about 5 cards now using the ARP method and it works each time.

I have a couple questions for you:
1. What model of UPS are you using?
2. What model of APC Management Card are you using (AP9617 - Gen1, AP9630 - Gen2)?
If it is the AP9630, try following the attached document.

That worked on one of the Units! The other unit took it at 1st and then when pinging the 1st two replyed and then it failed after that. its no longer displaying at all.
They are both
Smart-UPS 2200 RM XL
and the Maagement cards are AP9630
