Hi,
You should check to be sure the NMC is not losing Internet access during the power events. The error indicates the NMC is attempting to send the mail but cannot access the server.

Somebody thought that internet had gone out along with the power and that's why there was no email, so I tested it several hours after power was restored. Switched off main power to the house. Computer and fiber-optic modem are powered by the UPS and they kept on working perfectly. Internet was fine, I could download web pages and email etc. The UPS was working great (except for that annoying loud beep), but by all appearances the PowerChute software is broken! I really need that email notification on my phone when power fails. Extremely disappointing.

I meant to say, the test email works fine, but it doesn't send email when power actually fails. I hope somebody can fix it. Asap would be nice, otherwise I'll have to send it back for warranty service, or something.

The green Solved checkmark above was over-optimistic, however, now the problem really is solved. Turns out there's a setup panel where you can select which events will trigger an email. The Running on Battery (or something like that) checkbox needs to be selected to trigger an email when power fails. I reckon that's what people actually want. No interest in the other events listed. Too bad there's nothing for when power is restored. Unfortunately it's not really documented anywhere obvious (would have saved me a lot of trouble).

Hi, Try with different events you are getting emails or Not ; Check all the events are enabled for sending emails OR Not (on battery email and event log) if not enable it.
