We have 2 Smart-UPS 3000 in our building. Starting last Friday 6/13, we have had 6 instances of receiving 'UPS On Battery' emails immediately followed by 'Power Restored' emails. 4 of the instances came outside normal business hours, but 2 of them were during normal business hours. For those 2 instances, there was no outage witnessed in the building. Each device is on a different circuit in the building.
Can anyone think of anything that could be causing this issue?
I attached a .csv file with all the events.
Thanks,
Kenny Lunsway

You’ll need to provide the following logs for a more accurate response: Event, Data, UPS.
Provide a screen capture of the UPS & NMC in the About tab of the NMC.
At a high level without seeing any logs the system is operating as expected due to a power quality issue seen at the site. There are two main circuits in the system which are AVR and Battery.
Both can be adjusted by the end user within a limited range based on the power quality and the connected equipment’s ability to accept a wider input voltage and dirty power.
The system will engage the battery only circuit when the user defined limits have been reached and / or when the input voltage is considered dirty.
That can be due to rapid swings in input voltage, frequency drift, distorted frequency, sustained low / high voltages, and sine wave etc.
None of the above is something a person can see by eye without the aid of diagnostic tools and logging.
The UPS does not have the ability to capture, record, and display all of the above information due to user defined logging intervals, storage, and limitations of the NMC hardware.
But, obviously can react to them as seen in your logs and experience.
The system can not provide any information as to THD. 3rd harmonic distortion is the primary source and cause along with improper sine wave (Battery Only) switching when on generator or utility power.

Once you log into the NMC of the specific UPS. The About Tab is on the far right and both sub tabs: UPS, NMC
Will be available for viewing please take a screen capture of the information presented.
There is also a tab labeled: Logs
Provide a download of all three logs: Event, Data, UPS
You may also use the About -> Support -> Technical Support Information Download -> Generate Logs to obtain everything.
Upload all of these logs after they have been unzipped and sanitized of any PI / Private Data.
IE: I don’t need to know the companies name, email address, contact person etc.
