We have a new SmartUPS X 2000 with an AP9631 NMC2. It is showing a critical alarm, "UPS needs factory setup." Anyone know what this means? The UPS is working, but I can't get rid of that error. We've shut down and restart the UPS, to no avail.

Thanks, voidstar! I contacted them already, and am waiting for an e-mail from the rep I spoke to so I can reply to it with the event and data logs. Haven't received anything yet, though.

I believe the message means the UPS hasn't been properly programmed by the factory or lost the programming.

Wondering if you might be able to point me to a solution for this issue? Called Support and they couldn't help me at all. My unit is out of warranty and trying to find a solution to this error.
