So at the shop I work at we're using HP RT3000 UPSs (re-branded APC units) with an HP management card. Problem is there doesn't seem to be any straightforward way to manage a fleet of these.
Has anyone dealt with a fleet of these? How did you manage updating the settings on the management module other than logging in manually via the web interface?
On the other side of this... is there another UPS/management system out there that supports some sort of powershell integration or API for updating UPS settings?
Thanks!

Hi Daragh,
I'd recommend you look at a product called EcoStruxure Data Centre Expert, its available as a VM (VMWare only) or as a physical appliance.
It allows for updating, monitoring and centrally controlling most APC/SE devices as well as monitoring and alerting for many third party physical infrastrucature devices.

I'm having the same issue.
I was coming here hoping to find some good info, an API perhaps, maybe even some tips on Puppet or Ansible!
Looks like the only way to do anything remotely is by grabbing the config file by FTP. Which is fine but they've gone and added a password change prompt now to the initial out-of-box login. So you can't do anything till you've set that...
Also it doesn't appear that SFTP is supported so... Yeah. Room for improvement?
