We’re trying to get automatic shutdown set up for multiple servers connected to the Smart-UPS using PowerChute. We’ve bought SUA3000XLI + SUA48XLBP + Share-UPS. And then,
1. Install Agent on each server plugged into the UPS.
2. Install Server and Console on one managing server plugged into the UPS.
3. Connect servers to the Share-UPS basic ports via APC cables.
4. Connect the managing server to the Share-UPS advanced port via APC cable.
Now the problem is, I don’t know if I have successfully connected the external battery pack to the UPS. How can I get the information about the external battery pack from PowerChute business edition? Is there anything I need to do with the UPS, external battery or Share-UPS to get all these work?
Thanks in advance.

Hi,
Whichever agent has the Smart-Signaling port attached to it, you should be able to open that within the Console and under Battery, it should have something to the extent of "number of external battery packs" which will allow you to adjust the EEPROM count of battery packs, subsequently adjusting the runtime to display more accurately.
