I currently have the AP9619 card inside a SMART UPS with the supposed temp/humidity sensor AP9512TBLK.
The web interface shows me the temperature of the server room, but does not show humidity readings. It just shows : Humidity Not Available.
So how do I get it to read humidity levels?
Please help! Thanks 🙂

no, it should be hot swappable. just remove the current sensor, and plug the new one in and away you go. then make sure you can see the temperature and humidty.
you may see "sensor disconnected" notifications but that will make sense since you are disconnecting them 🙂 nothing to worry about other than that.

hi,
the AP9619 ships with the AP9512TBLK but as indicated by the T in the part number, it is only a temperature sensor. it cannot read humidity. you can remove it and add a AP9512THBLK (notice the TH in the part number) which will give you both temperature and humidity readings on the AP9619.

Wow thank you! I shall order the correct sensor.
Do I have to turn off the APC unit, before unplugging/replugging between the old and new sensor? Or do anything else special before unplugging the old sensor?
