Hello All,
We recently installed a temp probe in our AP8941 PDU with an AP9538 NMC. i am having trouble finding the OID for the temp probe to monitor on? I downloaded the MIB from APC for the AP8941 and could find anything. I could not find a MIB for the NMC. Do the network cards have MIBs?
Thank you
Ryan

Thank you! I did not think to look under the rPDU2 tree... This looks promising thank you!

Hi Ryan,
Take a look at this APC forum thread (link). To summarize:
Download the PowerNET MIB from:
http://www.apc.com/us/en/tools/download/
Choose "Firmware Upgrades - MIB". The MIB covers all APC products except NetBotz. Once the MIB is installed in your browser, walk the universalInputOutput tree (1.3.6.1.4.1.318.1.1.25).

I believe the OID voidstar mentioned may work but there is also a dedicated OID in the subtree for 'rPDU2' which AP8941 utilizes.
In this subtree, there is yet another subtree there for optional sensors to support temp and humidity polling.
This is an OID for temperature in F: .1.3.6.1.4.1.318.1.1.26.10.2.2.1.7 (.iso.org.dod.internet.private.enterprises.apc.products.hardware.rPDU2.rPDU2Sensor.rPDU2SensorTempHumidity.rPDU2SensorTempHumidityStatusTable.rPDU2SensorTempHumidityStatusEntry.rPDU2SensorTempHumidityStatusTempF)
There is also an OID for C in the same tree: .1.3.6.1.4.1.318.1.1.26.10.2.2.1.8 (.iso.org.dod.internet.private.enterprises.apc.products.hardware.rPDU2.rPDU2Sensor.rPDU2SensorTempHumidity.rPDU2SensorTempHumidityStatusTable.rPDU2SensorTempHumidityStatusEntry.rPDU2SensorTempHumidityStatusTempC)
Just wanted to pass it along, especially if the OID in the universalInputOutput tree does not end up working for some reason.

Thank you for this useful information! I was not aware of the MIB that covers all their products.
