Hello
Our PowerChute Business Edition got disconnected after windows server got new time and when trying to log in back we get this message:
Since we have only one server which uses UPS I'm unsure how this happened.
Yea there were few UPS disconnections during past few months but 5?
Is there any way to disconnect some or?
Thanks for reading

Hi,
The error mess indicates that the PowerChute Server the Console is attempting to connect to / communicate with has 5 other Console connected. You can run the Console on as many Windows systems as you please. The PowerChute Server will only allow 5 Consoles access at a time and will only monitor 5 Agent.
If you are sure there are no other systems on the network running the Console that are connect to / communicating with the PowerChute Server then you should restart the PowerChute Server service. Open a command prompt as an administrator and type net stop apcpbeserver. Once the service stop restart it net start apcpbeserver.
If that does not resolve the issue you should uninstall the PowerChute Server and reinstall it.

Hi,
When are you seeing this message? When attempting to log into the Console or when you are attempting to run the device list configuration utility? Also, what version of PowerChute Business Edition Agent, Server, and Console are you running?

Screen Shot :
When I press "Login" and Connect I get that error/warning.
Everything was working just fine but then server time changed and it got disconnected.
This isn't the first time this happened but "Connect" worked always.
If I go in browser and enter: https://name:numbers/status I can log in and it says everything is in green mode.
* Note - name:numbers have been replaced just for safety - But You get the point I guess - call me paranoid*
If nothing else with first chance we will re-start server and see if this fixes everything.
Main issue so far has been PowerChute got disconnected like once 1-2 weeks - I assume due to windows time sync.
Thanks for replying

Will try to do a server restart asap
EDIT:
It works !
After several hours service has stopped. I have no idea how but it did. Starting it again resolved it.
Why it took so long I'm unsure. There is an error in event viewer administrative log but other than that nothing.
Thank You for your help and Your time.
