Synchronized shutdown of 3 Smart-UPS 6000 RMXLT

I have a blade rack with 3 Smart-UPS 6000s with AP9619 Network Management Cards. I have one external server with a serial port that can be connected to only one of the 3 upses.

I would like them to power off and power on their loads simultaneously and I can't figure out how to make that happen. I have tried creating a Sync Group however this doesn't seem to work when one of the Grouped upses recieves a shutdown.restart command over the serial cable.

When I run a shutdown from the web interface I get all 3 upses powering off at the same time but the one that initiated the shutdown always powers on first.

Idealy I would like to have my setup so that I can send one ups a shutdown command and have the other 2 follow it. This way I can control my UPS cluster via a single serial cable. Since the nut snmp-ups driver does not support shutdown I am kind of stuck
