Dear all, we have 1 symmetra px with 2 external power bank which is split into 48 pcs batt each ( total 96 pcs batt ) right now in bank 1 there is 2 batt is broken make all the bank 1 is not working with bank 2 still working correctly, is it possible that we take out 2 the dead batt, resulting in, 46 pcs batt in bank 1 and 48 pcs batt in bank 2 or should be setup to 47 pcs batt for each bank
any suggestion are welcome, thank you.

Hello,
It seems you had Symmetra PX 250/500 unit,it is recommended to keep the number of blocks is 48 per string ( maximum three strings or 144 cells ) as it is recommended to keep 288 VDC in both positive and negative wi side of the batteries (or 576 VDC nominal) to get the most optimized runtime ,but no issues if only maximum 2 cells for each string is not available
The UPS supports customer-specific battery solutions with 144 cells (+/- 6 cells) for runtime optimization. The display has settings for number of cells on DC voltage levels (V/cell)
Regards,
Karim
