hello.

i have never seen this error and also red LEDs on the intelligence modules so you may need to call technical support in your region.

i would make sure the UPS has acceptable battery voltage as the UPS cannot start if there is low DC. it sounds like there are other problems besides just no communication though is what i am getting at. have you seen any powerview or IM log indicating "system start up configuration fault?" is the UPS outputting voltage? are there any other interesting events in the log? how did you find this issue out?

in general, with no red LEDs on the IMs, we would do the following:

• make sure no random serial cables are attached/dangling to the computer display port which can interrupt communication
• remove management card and reboot powerview menu
• you could also try the opposite - remove powerview and reseat NMC and see if when the powerview is removed if there is communication.

if you don't get anywhere with this, you would need to contact technical support to troubleshoot items that only field service engineers/tech support can get and provide instructions for, such as IM logs.
