Symmetra LX 16000 and Continuous Self Test Started alerts
Have a Symmetra LX 16000 that has been bulletproof for us for many years and this week gremlins took over. Nothing changed when this kicked into high nuttiness.
First - getting Self Test Started alerts at all hours of the day and night without completion. Sometimes within 5 minutes of each other, about 5 -10 a day. Electrician came and tested the line inbound from the power company and all looks fine and dandy.
Next - One of the SYPM4KP power modules (not batteries) is now clicking sporadically. Replacement on the way to isolate it and pull it offline and see if the errors go away. Nothing in the logs / NMC says it's bad.
Also - One of the batteries isn't showing vital stats like serial and whatnot but all say Good for status so that may just be a bug.
Last - Bought and installed a v2 NMC to see if any more info could be gleaned from the interface but just a log filled with Starting Self Test notices and no other errors.
