Symetra 16000 help with the events

We have a symetra 16000 and lately it has been sending an insane amount of email notifications I have turned it all the way down to only severe events and I have still got 743 emails in the last seven days. I am worried that there could be something wrong if these are supposed to be severe events but when I log in it tells me there are no alarms or problems. The emails I get seem to hold a good amount of information unfortunately I am not sure what most of it means. To make things more difficult we are unable to find a service provider in this area and don't wish to pay the national guys for a cross country trip if it is not necessary. I am going to post our event log and one of the emails and an help to learn how to decipher it would be apprecieated. Thanks in advance for all your help.

The event log-
01/12/2010 09:15:44 System: Web user admin logged in from 10.30.2.44.

'I realize the date was off and I changed it back before the post but I assure you this log is from the past four days. Another odd issue is that the machine will just reset randomly to factory defaults with the exception of the network address and information. It will just have factory defaulted password and all. The battery changing message is strange as none of the batteries were touched in the past four days.

The email report the last of 745 yes I got two more in the time it took e to type this-

it looks like you have an AP9606. please verify this by logging into the NMC and going to the help menu, about system on the left hand side after logging into the IP address of the network management card.

lets start by upgrading you to the latest version. follow [these instructions|http://nam-en.apc.com/cgi-bin/nam_en.cfg/php/enduser/std_adp.php?p_faqid=768] once you verify your card model number.

use the latest AOS and APP files i have linked here:
ftp://ftp.apcc.com/hardware/webcard/firmware/security/v326b/

choose aos326b.bin and sy326a.bin and follow the upgrade instructions.

lets start there and upgrade it. from there, we will have to comb through the configuration since an ap9606 does not have a nice config.ini file we can download and look at ๐Ÿ˜•

'None of these numbers change very much but will vary slightly. I would really like to know if there is a reference out there that will allow me to decipher this and explain the meaning of each of these items. If not if anyone can see an issue I would welcome any help. The machine is set to only send me severe events so I hope this isn't too severe. Thanks guys for any input you can offer.
