Hey guys!
I really need some help.
I got myself a SmartUPS 1500 from work which was working a while ago.
We got new UPSs because of the degraded batteries.
The one here https://youtu.be/zKa8UafYGXE
does not work at all or more specific: the power module does not work (230V)
As soon as I connect the batterypack this strange beeping begins. No matter if the mains is connected or not.
The beeping also starts when I only connect mains voltage an press the ON button at the front.
The fan of the power module does not spin.
The voltage get passed through.
Does someone have any clue? It seems that there might be a broken capacitor because it seems that is looses power periodically. But that is only a wild guess..
Does someone maybe have schematics for the board ?
I you need more information, I would be happy to give it to you!
Thanks in advance!

Hi Tobias -
Unfortunately we do not support board level repairs of Smart-UPS. I can confirm however that the Power Module has failed.
Thanks
Liam
