I have 2 SU2200's and a SU1400 that are dropping to battery for 2, 2s pulses separated by 10-30s every 10-20min. It seems like an error code of some sort. The odd thing is that none of the units have any sort of data connection wired up and the movement to battery power is simultaneous. The really simple solution would be that they are doing their job and something is happening on the line, but I have no indication of that elsewhere. I've browsed apcmedia.com and the main site a bit looking for manuals with no luck.
Thanks for any suggestions or links to manuals,
Mitch Pemberton

yeah for the most part except for the form factor. if you find out the individual SKUs you have, you can just copy the links I gave you and you should be able to view the SKUs within them. just plug in the SKU that you have and then go to the link and it should send you to the correct page for the rackmount units or any other models for that matter.

hi
how much load do you have on these UPSs? theoretically, you should have them on separate circuits.
i agree, it sounds like something is going on on the circuit(s).
are you not able to connect software to these with a serial connection (since I dont think they have USB based on the model numbers you gave) and powerchute business edition? we may be able to catch the reason they are transferring back and forth - might be able to catch some data in the data log.
[SU2200 manual here|http://www.apc.com/resource/include/techspec_index.cfm?base_sku=SU2200NET&tab=documentation]
[SU1400 manual here|http://www.apc.com/resource/include/techspec_index.cfm?base_sku=SU1400NET&tab=documentation]
the NET in the part numbers for the manuals i provided is irrelevant - just means it shipped with software.

The load bars on the 2 2200's show 0 lit LEDs, the 1400 shows 1 lit. More specifically there is a 2 piece ProliantDL385 cluster(4 total disks) that is basically idle, a ProliantDL380 with 6 disks, an 8 disc SAN, Poweredge2550 w/ 4 disks, and a couple switches/routers.
The 2200s have serial, USB, and Ethernet. The 1400 has at least serial. I was not involved in setting them up, but I assume there is a reason why powerchute was not installed, I'm going to find out what that was and if anything has changed.
Thanks for the manuals!
Edit: Also should I assume that my rack mount models pretty closely follow the manuals you linked to?
