I have a SmartUPS 700 with a AP9617 for network monitoring. The most important load on this UPS is a 12TB ReadyNAS Pioneer Pro. The ReadyNAS has a USB port for UPS monitoring. Is it possible to link the ReadyNAS to the SmartUPS using a serial to USB cable? I have a male to female APC serial cable that works for Telnet. Maybe a USB to serial converter? Your thoughts?
Thx
Carl

hello,
we recently introduced support for this where you don't need a cable connected. you'd use the AP9617 over the network and then review the information here -> http://www.apc.com/products/family/index.cfm?id=127 and refer to the SFPCNS301-NETGEAR download.
