Hello,
I've installed PowerChute Bussines Edition on Solaris 9. And got communication between UPS and server but how on earth force or setup user notify on Solaris. On website http://MY_IP:3052 I setup "Notify All Connected Users" and "Notify Configured Recipients". But scrip which is responsible for notify doesn't send anything. Script is here: /opt/APC/PowerChuteBusinessEdition/Agent/bin/notifier.sh
Help, help, help.
Thx in advance.
Peter

Hi Peter,
The agent should uses wall (write to all) I believe to send a broadcast message to all users or a specific user.
Make sure you can send a message from the computer the agent is installed on to other systems on your network. This will verify if the wall command should work or not.
