I have had the above unit for some time now and it has been working fine. I moved and replaced the batteries but the UPS is not charging the batteries (the battery level indicator on the right of the front panel has only the lowest LED lit. The load indicator seems to be working just fine and line power seems to be ok.
Is there any way to further diagnose the problem? Thanks!
BTW, this has probably been asked many times so pointers to existing threads are fine. I couldn't find any.

What you could try is a "manual runtime calibration". Put roughly a 30% load on the UPS, unplug any communication cables from the UPS, and leave the UPS unplugged so that it totally shuts off from the battery discharging. Then, plug the UPS back in and allow it to charge up fully. This should help calibrate the EEPROM readings for the battery and will hopefully solve the issue. Any extra information about the issue post calibration (LEDs, PowerChute software, etc.) would be helpful.
Do you have a serial # on the replacement battery you received?

What kind of batteries are these and where did you receive them? What is the serial number on the Smart-UPS unit itself? Was this an internal battery replacement or an XL pack? Do you have any software installed that could provide us with more detailed information?

I just knew someone was going to ask! 8^)
The batteries are an RBC11 new (at least I think they are). I purchased them online from PlanetBattery.
The model is: SU1400RMXLNET
The S/N is: WS0107000152
