Have a Smart-UPS 1500 (actually a Dell OEM - DLA1500)
Running 3 PC's off it, with load usually 2 out of 5
Charge is full, and there are no warning lights, running on AC
Anyway have had this going about a month now, when in last few days the overhead protector buttons pops out
I have never noticed the "overload" warning light coming on
THere is a warning beep once the button pops out, and it switches to battery - this seems to take it fully off-line (i.e. charge starts to dissipate, and on-line light stays off) - eventually PC shuts itself off as charge depletes
I dont think there is a warning beep before hand
Any ideas what is up
Thanks
Jeff

how often does this happen? once a day, once a week, etc? does it seem random or always at a certain time of the day?
when the unit goes to battery, do the load LEDs stay at 2 being lit?
are you able to try and plug it into a different circuit to rule out any issues with the outlet it is plugged into?
