SmartConnect UPS units offline

Hello,

We have a few smart connect units offline at one of our campuses. We have not made any network changes and went onsite to verify that the UPS units have internet access.

We tested one of the network switch ports that one of the units is connected to, and it has internet access.

We have verified that smart connect is enabled on these units.

We have one UPS unit on this campus that is still able to communicate with the portal.

The issue appears to be the APC cloud rejecting communications from these units.

Can you help us with getting these units online?

Please call out the specific UPS SKU, serial number along with providing a screen capture of the UPS, NMC under the About tab.

Assuming this isn’t an internal networking issue with your site. The first action item is to reset the Smart Connect NIC:

Updating the (UPS) firmware incorporates several Smart Connect connectivity and communication issues.
