I'm using a Smart-UPS RT 1500 with a Network Management Card AP9617. The UPS has an IP, I can connect to the web console, however when I go to add it to the Server Console or an Agent, it simply can't find it. The auto-detect does not work in the Agent install or the Server console, and manually adding the IP or host name yields no results.
The server console is running on Windows Server 2003 Standard.
Thank you.

The AP9617 cards are not meant to be added / used with the PowerChute Business Edition server/console setup. When you add an agent to the PCBE server through the console it is looking for an installed PCBE agent at that IP...which is supposed to be the IP of a computer with the agent installed. The AP9617 cards are meant to be used with PowerChute Network Shutdown, which is a different, network-based shutdown software solution APC provides.
