Smart-UPS VT 10Kva 208V external battery bank

Is it possible to connect a non APC  branded  external  battery  bank to a Smart-UPS VT 10Kva 208V Provided that the bank equal 192 volts? Would a separate  charger be needed for the external bank?

Hi,

There are 3rd party batteries available but be aware that using none Schneider Electric batteries voids the manufacture warranty.

Schneider Electric offers 4 skus

SUVTXR2B6S XR frame with no DC breaker - comes with 2 batt rows, with room for 6 rows total

SUVTXR6B6S same - fully populated with 6 rows

SUVTBXR2B6S XR Frame with DC breaker, 2 batt rows, with room for 6 rows total

SUVTBXR6B6S same - fully populated with 6 rows
