After some planned maintenance and battery replacement, it appears my RT 3000 is accidentally in bypass mode (activated by the little switch on the back).
The UPS has the following LEDs:
1 green LED for load
all green LEDs for Battery Charge
1 orange LED for bypass
No LED lit for "online"
Now my UPS management NIC does not respond on its IP address.
Q1: In bypass mode, is this normal for the UPS management interface to not be responding?
Q2: Are the LEDs "normal" for bypass mode?
Thanks in advance.

Thanks for the reply Jordan.
LED lights on the nmc are:
Status LED : Green - slow regular off/on
Link-RX/TX (10/100) LED : Orange - fast irregular off/on
I get a link light on my switch, but the nmc does not respond to ping - so I guess it is not getting IP address correctly.
When I browse to http://
No changes were made to the nmc settings, but we did change our LAN switches. Clearly something is "not right" on that side, so I will talk to our network team.
I found this document which details the LEDs, in case anyone finds it useful:

Hello,
Q1 - If by "UPS management interface" you are referring to accessing the web GUI via the network management card, then no, that is not normal. In bypass, your NMC should be responsive.
Q2 - Those are normal LED indicators in bypass. It appears your battery is fully charged, your load is not very significant, and the orange LED signifies you are in maintenance bypass.
What are the LED lights on the nmc indicating (color, blink pattern, etc.). And what are you seeing when you attempt to login into the NMC? Were any of the settings on the NMC changed at all?

If the ethernet port works for your laptop, you might try disabling ethernet auto-negotiation and pick a particular speed + duplex on the switch and NMC.
