I have looked around and can't find any data on this type of error:
We just finished upgrading 190 APC 1500 and 2200 UPSs. The equipment is all manufactured in 2018 running version 6.5.0 on the NMC. Besides finding 5 units that were DOA, the equipment is all up and working. I now have 6 out of the 190 units showing an alarm of "Battery near end of life". The battery install date on the UPS indicates February or March of 2019. I ‘ve tried resetting the battery health warning to 730 days and back to no response. Setting the time to no response clears the alarm but as soon as I set it back to default values it goes back into a warning alarm. This is an SNMP alarm that shows up in DCE and in the UPS log. I am not able to find this problem on any of the past community questions.
Any help would be most appreciated.
Chuck

It looks like resetting the "battery health alarm warning time" to -1 (no notification warning) and back to default of 183 days cleared the alarm. The function is located under the UPS configure tab of the NMC. This action worked on all of the problem UPSs. I am not sure why the alarm triggered with a new UPS install but it's now all green status.

Hi Chuck,
Is the alert active only on the SNMP web interface and DCE, or does the UPS LCD display also indicate active alert? Which UPS series are you using, could you let me know the model number of one of your 1500VA and 2200VA units?

The error shows up on both the event logs and on the front of the display of the equipment. It shows up on both the SMT2200RM2UC and SMT1500RM2UC units. It has only showed up on a few units out of the 190 units we installed.

Hi I have the same problem with one of our SRT2200 units, But I can't find the "Battery Health alarm warning time" in the config menu. The settings I see are "Replace battery notification" (183days) and "replace battery alarm reminder"(14days). I cannot set either of these to -1. Am I missing something?
Update: I have fixed the problem by setting the battery fitted time to todays date, then setting it back to the original instal date.😊
