Hi Fulvio,
I would try to "brain dead" the unit. This will reset all the capacitors and memory in the unit. To do this you would need to power down the server.
1. Turn off the smart-ups.
2. Unplug the unit from the wall and disconnect the battery
3. Hold the off button for about 5-10 seconds. You might hear a little click. Leave the UPs unplugged for 30 seconds.
4. Reconnect everything and re-power the smart-ups
The replace battery light should go away. You might have to do a runtime calibration to get an accurate runtime with the new battery.
