Hello,
I have a smart UPs with a network card. Its able to tell my mac servers to shut off gracefully. The problem is that i want them to turn on when the power is restored.
As the xserve is connected too the UPS with ethernet rather then USB it won´t give me the additional energy saving options from the osx pref.pane.
Does anyone have any experience with my problem?
As i stated earlier, i want the servers to turn on automaticly when the power is restored.
Thank you.

Perhaps [this thread|http://forums.apc.com/spaces/7/ups-management-devices-powerchute-software/forums/general/6113/multip...] may help. It's on getting an XServe to start up after being shutdown by PCNS.
