Sounds like normal behavior - that's just the UPS' low battery alert. If as you say there is a management card in the slot in the back you can change the on-battery behavior to Mute the alert.
As for calibration you can either do it thru the management card, or do it manually by "BRAIN-DEADING" the UPS: Pull the plug when its on line with load attached then let the UPS completely drain its batteries til it shuts down, then unplug the UPS, press and hold the off button til you hear a click, then disconnect the battery, press and hold the power on button for 20 to 30 seconds to discharge the UPS' internal capacitors, then plug the battery back in, plug the UPS back in and power it up. As it charges up again the battery run time should be recalibrated.

Hi,
Are you saying that with the UPS plugged in, and the batteries connected, the batteries do not appear to be charging ? (IE battery bar graph indicators - all five - are not illuminated even after 24 hours of charging ?
And...by "bleeper" do you mean the UPS front panel "replace battery" LED or the "fault" LED is lighted up and the UPS is beeping every few seconds ?

No what I am saying is the battery's charge as normal. When load is connected say 300w it will run once the ac is unplugged, after about 1 minute i lose the first bar of battery, after 10 minute i lose the second bar, in about another 10 or 20 min I am down to 1 bar. From that point the bleeper constantly bleeps, which is annoying. But the battery's are still good for another 2 hour or so. Maybe longer.
