We bought a Smart UPS1500I for our avaya switch (3524GT-Pwr+) -no PoE active
During the start of the UPS when the switch is booting the load on the UPS is around 8% , when the Switch is online the load on the UPS in the display is 0%
Battery is on 100% - fully charged for more than 20 hours.
When i unplug the UPS the battery charge drops within 50 seconds to 68% , then it stops and is discharging on a normal rate i guess but i didn't check the time from 68% to 67%
When the UPS Load is 0% why is it dropping so fast !?

Mine did that when the battery was thought to be bad, I bought new batteries but it turned out the UPS was misreading the voltage so I bought a new one as it was 6 years old. So if it is 2nd hand you may just need new batteries but you will need to confirm with a multimeter that the battery voltage matches what the UPS reports, if it is new check the report that is stuck to the batteries with the test date to make sure your dealer hasn't had it stored for a long time as that can cause batteries to go bad.

It should be a new one. We got it direct from APC.
The first UPS we bought (3 Weeks ago) had the same behavior - it dropped to 80% within 20 Seconds. I contacted support and they sent us another UPS.
But the 2nd one was DOA , the support said there was an error in the Logistics and they had sent us a defect one.
Now the 3rd Smart UPS has the same problem as the first one and drops even more - to 68% until the fast discharge stops...
On the report of the 3rd UPS the date is 7/22/2017
