Smart Connect API?

Hello APC Smart Connect Team,

Just wondering if there is an API I can use to get data for these UPS's. I am hoping to track power usage and UPS state. using the following endpoint:

https://smartconnect.apc.com/api/v1/gateways/<prod id>/view 

However, I need to be able to establish auth first. Do you have any documentation you could supply?

same request here !...  The authentication seems to be a hurdle to get over first...

As of this writing there is no publicly available open (API) to connect to the APC Smart Connect Cloud Portal Service.

The only available methods are to install a NMC if the Smart Slot is available.

If not, than using the serial port whether USB / RJ50 is the only option and third party software like APCUPSD / NUT.

You’re simply wasting your time with something that offers very little value and opens your home / business to a massive security threat. 🤦‍♂️
