Hi all,
we have a Silcon DP320E, that is managed over a Web/SNMP Management Card. The system is about 10 years old.
Since a few days, we are receiving the email message "UPS: Non-specific fault; Access UPS keyboard for details". A few minutes later, there is the message "UPS: Non-specific fault cleared". This has happened once a day, but now the error frequency is up to every half hour or so.
By accessing the UPS Keyboard, we can see that the detailed error message always is "fan fault". However, we can clearly hear the fan rotating and there ist no scratching etc.
- Could it be a problem with the fan monitoring system or should we actually replace the fan?
- If we have to replace the fan, are there any instructions available (Service manual etc.)?
- Do we have to buy a complete "Spare Part Kit Level 2 SL20KH-SPL2" (which contains the fan, but is quite expensive) or is it possible to order the fan separately?
Best Regards,
Jan

Hi, if you have not called into technical support already at 1-800-800-4272 (select Symmetra PX/Silcon/Three-Phase option), please do so. Sorry about the late response, this is not a question that is easily answerable via forums and we've been investigating.
