Silcon 60KVA - low dc warning

Hi all

Just want to know what is Low dc warning and low dc shutdown, this log was came from the UPS, Also i wonder in NMC AP9617 i didnt get this alarm instead i get the UPS: Batteries discharge, UPS: Batteries discharge condition cleared, UPS: Batteries weak.
Are this type of alarm is the same?

Low DC warning and Low DC shutdown are warnings that are specific to Silcon units that are on battery (or think they are on battery) and about to shut down. It is similar to a "low battery duration" alarm on other UPS systems. Batt disch. and batt weak messages you got refer to low batt voltage. It is recommended that you call into technical support to discuss possibilities for troubleshooting or battery replacement. Tech. support can be reached at 1-800-800-4272 and you will need to choose the three-phase/Symmetra PX/Megawatt option.

One more thing, the boss told me that they are just changing the batteries last few weeks,
so is there any possibility that the batteries have some issue? thanks again

It is possible that the batteries were weak or going bad...and if so then new batteries would likely fix the issue. If you are referring to some "new" batteries having issues...that's beyond my capacity to say since Silcon battery systems are not my specialty. However, your best source for a confirmation would be our three-phase tech support team.

just for the record, can the silcon do the runtime calibration? just like other small ups, provided the silcon came with NMC and tripple chasis.,
BTW, if we perform runtime calibration its better to have load or not?
