Hello,
We have an interesting dilemma, and I was hopeful the logic behind event delay notification would make it possible.
Scenerio:
10 sites.. Any of the sites can lose power on a given night, but 80% of the time, power is restored within 5 minutes. It's frustrating to be paged at 2 am in the morning for a site power outage only to have it restored in 5 minutes anyway..
Would the setting make it possible to set a delay of 5 minutes, and if the power comes back in say, 2 minutes, it clears and does not send a page?

yes you can certainly do that in the latest network management card firmware.
first, make sure you have one of the following models of network management card: AP9617, AP9618, AP9619, AP9630, AP9631 with firmware at least at version 3.x. The preceeding information can be found inside the network management card under either Administration tab->General->About (if you have tabs at the top like in my screenshot, this is 3.x firmware actually. the model number is also found in this location. if you have an older card, the navigation will be on the left under Help->About System.
When you confirm the above info, you will want to navigate to the Administration->Notification of the interface. On the left, you will see configure Events->By Event or By Group. You can choose whatever method you want to at that point. You want to get to the point where you choose Enable Notifications and see the screen in my screenshot. Here you can customize the delays you were talking about.
seems like you'd want to choose the "Delay X before sending."
hope this helps!
