Does anyone know if APC makes a cable that I can plug into a Surface (USB) to a SURTA2200RMXL2U (serial)?
I am trying to load PowerChute on my Surface but it needs to be connected to a UPS before it will install.

If not, you could always get a micro usb to 9 pin serial, then plug the black 9 pin APC cable into that.

I've used a generic PL2303 usb to serial cable in conjunction with a homebrew APC smart cable for years on an iMac. Works well.
I've also tried it with a generic FTDI USB to Serial. No special requirements really as long as you use the pin-swapped APC cable between the adapter and the UPS.
