I have a SUVT10 KVA systems installed and working good since a year. Today morning there was an email from the system saying "Severe - UPS: Batteries discharged" and about 15 mins later another messagae as No longer discharged. Do I need to take any action or just self test of the UPS will do ?

Check the log for a power event. If none is found, charge 24 hours, then do a runtime calibration through PowerChute. You'd only need to worry if the result isn't really good.

If you run a few consecutive self-tests, that will show if any batteries that may be suspect, are fully discharged. I would run three in a row to see what happens. Most of the time, the batteries just need to charge. Was there an on-battery event for a sustained period of time? Usually that causes something like this to occur.

Hello,
Throught either the PowerView or the Network Management Card, you should be able to depict the runtime. Therefore, if it's minimal, I would not initiate a third self-test. Since there were no On Batt events, we now can eliminate that as being a problem. How old are the batteries in the system?
