I have a unit which when moved seemed to have lost it's network connection.
I have pulled the card, re-seated it and nothing happens.
I can see network activity so I am assuming that the card has been defaulted.
Looking at the docs for the card, it's not really clear on how defaults the IP settings to that it will grab a DHCP IP.
So far, I am not having any luck.
Any help would be most welcome, thanks.

Turns out the Ethernet cable used to reconnect at the new location was bad.
Thanks.

I'd take a look at the knowledge base (http://www.apc.com/site/support/index.cfm/faq/) and check out article ID FA156064. It goes over all of the set up options to configure TCP/IP settings.
If this is a AP9617/18/19 management card in the UPS, the default is DHCP with option 43 configured
If this is a AP9630/31 management card in the UPS, the default boot mode is DHCP.
If you're still stuck, please confirm the LEDs on the management card (color and if solid or flashing). The status LED is the one with a checkmark or X next to it and the 10/100 LED is the network activity LED.
