Hello,
We have a SURTD2200XLIM, It`s a new unit with 2 extra battery packs which I need to add in the UPS configuration (we installed a AP9613 unit in the UPS).
The unit has a RJ45 serial com connection and I use the 940-1525A communication cable that was delivered with the unit.
We tried bps 2400 and 9600 both with 8 data bits, parity none, stop bit 1, flow control none. Tried with 3 different laptops, one with USB to DB9 (others directly on DB9 on laptop), tested programs Hyperterminal and ADRCOM. Also tried braindeading the UPS to reset communications without luck.
On 1 laptop powerchute laptop is installed, UPS can communicate with server.
In Hyperterminal the screen remains blanck when the correct com port is selected (when wrong port is selected I see the commands I type).

Jon,
Disconnecting the AP9613 did the trick, thank you!
Regards,
Rick
