Hi,
I have some problem with ordering of the new batteries for this device and the old one's completely unusable. Is it possible to turn off somehow that per second beeping? I have this message in my log: "UPS: The battery is not installed properly" and battery indicator blinking (on the front panel).
Regards,

Hi Alex,
If that option doesn't disable the beep for your situation, then there won't be a way to. Like I said, we don't typically allow this type of thing since the batteries are a crticial part of the UPS functioning so we want to constantly remind (annoy) the user or else they have no battery back up. I suggested double checking it since I did see a different UPS, one with SUA model prefix, seemed to apply this setting and mute this disconnected battery beep going against what I just said
Unfortunately too, online models like SURT (and SRT) models need good batteries to turn on. You'll need to get it some good batteries to get it turned on again. I'd say put it in bypass as other models would work like that but this model has an electronic bypass so it would also require good batteries to engage the bypass function.

I am not 100% sure if that specific alarm can be disabled but critical battery alarms like that typically cannot be since the battery is the lifeblood of the UPS. If there is any chance of disabling it, you'd see the option within the UPS Network Management Card menu with the other UPS options. Do you have access to that management card? This UPS would include one by default.

Of couse I have an access, I'm using it an every day, but I just can't find there the option which could be used to disable it. A lot of network equipments give's more functionality with CLI. I thought that if it's possible, it should be a special command to disable it. But I am not sure about that, maybe it's completely impossible, that's why I'm asking.

I have AP9631 model. I had set "Never" in that option already but it's still beeping. There was a power loss an hour ago, since that I can't turn on the UPS. I think that's because all batteries was unplugged. Is it possible to turn it on without batteries?
Thank you for your help!
