Hi!
I bought one SURT10000XLI. I need 220V to the output. At the building, I have 110V. I can use 2 phase (110V+110V) to power ON the UPS? The manual doesn't show anything about it.
Thank you!
Marcelo

Hello,
I checked with our EMEA support team.
Technically it does work.
One problem is however that the breakers of the XLI SKUs are only single-pole breakers which is fine in a P-N system where it is not necessary to break N but in a P-P system it always leaves one hot phase unbroken. So we do specify/recommend to use external dual-pole breakers...
Another point to look at would be proper grounding which is often neglected in P-P systems.
So overall using SURT XLIs in a P-P system is possible if the right safety measures are in place but we do not actively promote this type of applications exactly because of those possible safety issues.
