Hey guys,
I have a customer that just put in this unit in a data closet. They had a blackout for about an hour, and the unit ran until it couldn't run anymore. Needless to say, when power came back on, the unit did not, and am getting no signs of life on the unit, and it is completely dead. So my question is when the batteries completely run down, and utility power is restored, shouldn't the unit start charging those batteries and the unit come back on? If this happens with the 10000's, do I have to replace batteries everytime there is a blackout and the unit runs down its batteries according to the runtime? I would think that it would charge them once power is restored. I can't even troubleshoot it because it won't come on. Have 208V out of the wall supplying it, that was the only thing I could check. Need some help here, customer very angry and losing confidence in APC units.
