Dear Team,
please clear my one Question if i install one SURT 8KVA with 4 external battery bank192XLBP. then how much charging time is required SURT 8KVA Typical recharge time 2.20 hour on APC web site what will be the charging time with external battery banks.

Um... I'm not exactly sure how to answer your questions other than to point you to the [runtime chart|http://www.apc.com/products/runtime_for_extendedruntime.cfm?upsfamily=163] for this family. Search for your unit (SURT8000XLT) and the applicable # of battery packs and see the runtime listed. There isn't anything for 0 watts - the lowest is 50w - and the chart is a little messy but hopefully that will help in terms of what runtimes you're expecting.

The runtime graph on the [main product page|http://www.apc.com/resource/include/techspec_index.cfm?base_sku=surt8000xlt] may help as well.

The battery charger is 869w. That's all the info I have.

Well, the 8k has 4 internal batteries, as do each of the external battery packs. So you could multiply the typical recharge time (2.2 hours) by the number of battery packs you add - in this case 4 - and get 8.8 hours. Then add the original 2.2 for the internal batts and you get 11 hours total for an estimate.

Thanks for your continuous support. I really appreciate your details answer. now I have some more question about UPS RT 8KVA (1) During absence of A/C mains what will be the no load current drain from battery bank?
(2) during absence of A/C main what will be the full load current drain from battery bank?
(3) what will be the maximum current flow from your offered ups,s charger to the battery bank?
