Hi, We have a Smart UPS 5000 VA which was not used for almost 1 year. When we recently tried to use it, the UPS was not responding and did not start up. We replaced the batteries with a new one and the UPS started. But after the self testing, the UPS returns an error that battery is disconnected or it has bad battery. I tried to connect the UPS to the laptop using the power chute software but i was not able to connect. But i connected through the hyperterminal and found that the date in the ups was showing an old date. (Same as we see in our desktop pc when the CMOS battery is dead). Can you please advice?
