Hello,
We currently use an SUA3000RMT2U when we go to trade shows. Most of the time the facility can supply us with an l6-30 receptacle and we have no issues. We have one coming up that can only supply us with an L21-30 single phase. If I purchase an L21-30 plug how do I wire this? The APC has 3 wires so I assume I just take the two hots and put them to the 208v hots and the ground wire to ground is that correct?
Thanks for any help.

Thanks for your reply. We removed the plug and the electrician was able to to use an L14-20p. No clue how he wired it, but it is working.
Thanks again.

are you going to cut the plug off of the UPS or what are you planning to do?
i am not that familiar with the L21-30 but from what I do know, its a 120/208, three phase, five wire four pole outlet type.
the UPS you mentioned needs a 208v power supply - two hot legs and a ground with a 120º phase angle between the two hot legs
