Hi,
I have a SUA2200UXi which was working well. For a few months, when I was
going out of town, I left the batteries disconnected.
On return, trying to switch the UPS ON didn't do anything. No LED's light up.
No clicking sound of the relay etc..
Tried reconnecting the battery back. The result looks the same.
(4 external batteries, no internal batteries)
The UPS looks completely dead. I checked the batteries with a multimeter,
shows about 12.5 Volts each on the batteries. Tried loading the batteries
with a car headlight, that too works..
I thought maybe the circuit breaker on it tripped. Tried pressing it, no change.
Thought maybe a fuse blew up. Opened the case, there's a large fuse on the
black battery lead. The fuse looks okay.
At least, the UPS should power ON from the Mains at least. That doesn't
happen too ..
Simply the UPS won't power up. Any idea ?
Thanks,
Manu'

what happens if you try to coldstart the UPS? To do this, keep it disconnected from mains/AC power and with the batteries securely connected, hold down the (o) test button and see if the UPS beeps twice. If it does, let go during the second beep.
Another thing I think you can do to see if the UPS sees input voltage is with the UPS connected to mains/AC to hold down the test button to see if the battery bar graph on the right illuminates any of its LEDs which are usually able to represent the range of input voltage. (refer to PDF page 8 @ http://www.apcmedia.com/salestools/ASTE-6YWRZE/ASTE-6YWRZE_R1_EN.pdf) I have a feeling this only works when the UPS will turn on though, I am not sure.
