hi Guys
Were planning to purchase SUA2200I 220VAC input/output voltage but this UPS will be loaded 1500Watts equipment but this equipment is 120VAC supply so we're planning to use transformer at the output side of the UPS coz in our country we're using 220VAC-230VAC, xformer 220:120 set-up. So my question is what should the expected runtime w/ this 1500Watts load.
Thanks

Hi
Correct me if i'm wrong, the current for 120VAC is much higher than the current of 220VAC if we have a 1500Watts load. So basically the runtime of the UPS is much lower than the 220VAC w/ 1500Watts. Also plus the power loss at the transformer side since its step down.. please advice
Thanks

HI Rod
Yeah correct coz the load ( VA ) was given already, anyway, furthermore, if the capacity of UPS is 2200VA, what should be the capacity of the transformer is it the same w/ UPS or a bit lower?
Thanks
