are these APC battery packs or third party?
Do you have any software or network management card installed with this UPS that allows you to update the battery pack count? Or has that already been set?
Can you verify the icon near the low battery indicator you are seeing? Because there is a battery with an X through it or a battery charge graph with five LEDs and these icons can mean different things.
This model UPS requires you to tell it how many battery packs are attached to account for more accurate runtime. If this count is already updated, then let me know what it is set to and what led to adding this battery pack (did you replace failing batteries or add this on new, etc).
