We have about 20 AP9630's that have been upgraded to the 5.1.7 code. All of them are exhibiting the following behavior:
When either manually inititiating a self test or when a self test automatically kicks off we get this system message sent out 12 times:
System: Detected an unauthorized user attempting to access the SNMP interface from XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX (ip address of our management server)
We are using SNMP V3 on all of them and they all have notifications enabled and configured.
Is there a newer version of code that will correct this coming soon?
Thanks.

Acutally, i am not comfortable publishing that information on a public board. I will just open a case with APC.
Thanks.

6.0.6. is "out there" in some form (beta, etc.). I am not sure if it has been formally released and whether or not it will resolve your problem.

Could you post (attach as a file) the event log, the data log, and a config.ini file from a unit that has experienced this?
My suspicion is you'll find the self-test in the logs, followed by the unauthorized access messages. At that point you can use Wireshark to see what, if anything, is going on between the NMC and the management server after the self-test trap.
